Catherine Geoghegan

Principal / Acting Teacher 

Catherine has a BA (Hons) degree in Drama and Dance and has written a thesis on the laws governing child performers in television. Catherine is also an experienced Voice, Drama, and Expressive Arts Teacher having worked in state, private and stage schools in Australia and England. In addition to teaching Catherine co-writes plays for StageArts and has devised and led a number of workshops to support the key stages of the national curriculum along with theatre and television performance workshops. Catherine has a vast experience as a Performer, Director, Workshop-Leader, and Theatrical Agent as well as running a Theatre Company with her husband.  

Catherine founded StageArts with after school clubs and workshops in Dance and Drama across North London. She then went on to realise her dream and opened her own Theatre Schools in Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, and Stevenage.  With all her experience, Catherine wishes to provide an inspiring, positive and fun learning environment for those who wish to excel with StageArts.

Eamon Geoghegan 

Artistic Director / Acting Teacher

Eamon has been an actor for over twenty years and his theatre credits include Stephen in Dealer's Choice at The Salisbury Playhouse, Julius in Cheeky-Chappie at The Haymarket Basingstoke, Marlow in She Stoops To Conquer (Pakistan tour) Playboy in Playboy Of The Western World (UK Tour) and Flat top in Starlight Express at The Apollo Victoria, London.

His television credits include: The Family Man, Hustle, Murphy's Law, Eastenders, Doctors, Waking The Dead, Rose And Maloney, A Touch Of Frost, Foyle's War, Midsommer Murders, Bad Girls, The Bill, Trial & Retribution, The Sight, Inspector Morse, The Brief, The Stretch, The Knock, London's Burning, Bodyguards and most recently, the critically acclaimed, Shoot The Messenger. Eamon's film experience to date is V for Vendetta, Shiner, The Criminal, Thin Ice, Sugar-Sugar, Nailbiter, The Box and Legend of 1900.

As well as acting in Theatre, TV and Films, Eamon has successfully run his own Theatre Company and Directed World Premiered Plays including Children of Cain, Strictly for the Birds,  plus A Tribute To Hancock, Cinderella's Fellas, Elsie and Norm's Macbeth, and One For The Road. Eamon co writes plays for StageArts and is delighted to be asked to be the Artistic Director for all of StageArts Theatre Schools.

Sapphire Beaumont

Singing / Dance Teacher

Sapphire spent the vast majority of her professional career playing the role of Tina Turner in the UK tour 'Soul Legends'. Since graduating Stella Mann college of performing arts with a musical theatre and dance diploma in 2017, she is proud to have been a part of Entertainers UK being a part of several shows including 'The Magic of Motown' and 'Signed Sealed Delivered'. She's had the experience of choreographing several professional shows over the years including a Stevie Wonder Tribute show which is now on tour. Coming from a Ballet, Jazz and Musical Theatre background, Sapphire has been teaching Musical Theatre and Dance for StageArts for the last five years and thoroughly enjoys passing her knowledge of the industry down to her students!

Sophie Rose Middleton

Singing / Dance Teacher

 Sophie-Rose trained in Musical Theatre at the Emil Dale Academy. Before professionally training, Sophie-Rose actually used to be a student herself at StageArts, and the school has such a special place in her heart. It means the world to her to be able to come back and teach for the school now she is older. She teaches Singing and Dancing and loves, more than anything, seeing the children grow and develop their skills as performers, and seeing their confidence grow in themselves through the performing arts. Credits include: SIX The musical (Swing and Associate Show Captain) by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. (Wendy Jo/ Understudy Rusty) in the inaugural cast of Footloose the musical, Nick Kenkel and David Ruttura. Charlotte Barker

Acting / Singing Teacher

Charlotte trained at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts where she completed a singing diploma with distinction. She then went on to Guildford School of Acting, achieving a BA Hons Degree in Musical Theatre. Charlotte has been a teacher at Stage Arts since 2013 and also teaches privately. Charlotte performs as a Professional Singer with West End function band 'Bloomfield Avenue' and really enjoys teaching for StageArts.

Ellie Stevens

Dance / Singing / Acting Teacher

 Ellie graduated from Emil Dale Academy with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre. She began performing at 9 years old making her West End Debut in Billy Elliot when she was 12. Teaching at Stage Arts is always fun and she loves watching the next generation develop into confident performers and simply enjoying themselves and exploring their creativity.
 

Dionne Lee

Dance Teacher

Dionne Lee, trained in ISTD Dance from the age of 4 years and she continued to attend Tap, Ballet, Modern and Jazz classes throughout her childhood, appearing in many performances across the country. Dionne successfully achieved an A* in GCSE Dance, A* in A-Level Dance and continued on with a Dance BA Hons degree at Middlesex University. Aged 20 she trained at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), where she achieved a PGCE teaching qualification and Masters (MA) in Dance education. Dionne has been teaching for over 10 years, both in the stage school and government school sector. After taking time out for babies (twins) Dionne is proud to be back where she started with StageArts ."Dance is my life and passing my passion onto young children is a true accomplishment".

Ben Skevy

Dance Teacher

Ben has been dancing since he was very young and has been one of StageArts visiting Dance Teachers for many years and loves every minute of teaching our students. He brings his amazing energy to class and lights up our sessions with his positivity. It's always s a joy to welcome Ben. Rob Paice

Acting Teache/ Singing Teacher

Rob trained at East 15 Acting School and then went on to perform in a range of roles including Mr Bumble in 'Oliver', The Sheriff of Nottingham in 'Robin Hood' and Jack's mother in 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. Rob has also worked for Phileas Fogg theatre company in Holland. In 2013 Rob then re-trained as a primary school teacher and now has a captive audience every day of the week!
